    The Chief Financial Officer plays an important role in providing the financial guidance and direction that balances quality, risk, and value in a changing business environment by creating and upholding ethical decisions essential to the integrity of this position. This position is accountable for the overall financial stability and integrity of the company reflective of the following:


    • Accounting policy guidance
    • General and complex transactional processing
    • Evaluating credit opportunities and risks
    • Internal controls/compliance
    • Optimizing cash position and debt management
    • Realistic financial forecasts and economic evaluations
    • Sound and accurate financial statements
    • Strategy formulation
    • HR leadership and overall management
    • IT leadership and overall management

    CFO Process



    1. Develops the financial strategic plans of the organization and implementation; directs and measures the financial results according to pre-established fiscal standards and goals.
    2. Maintains credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets/forecasts, financial reports, and trends.
    3. Conducts hands-on controller/accounting activities (i.e. Payments, accounts payable/receivables, credit, and period-end closing).
    4. Performs and improves budgets/forecasts through key managers.
    5. Ensures accurate and efficient payroll process is in place and compliance is met.
    6. Enhances/develops policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the company.
    7. Provides technical and financial advice/knowledge to others within the company.
    8. Participates in the development of the company's direction and overall plans as a strategic partner of the owner and other senior managers.
    9. Creates and upholds the financial discipline and compliance of the company's resources to ensure positive financial results.
    10. Manages the banking, insurance, healthcare, accounting/auditor relationships, legal consultancy, and other strategic service partnerships.
    11. Jointly establishes financial benchmarks and goals in which overall performance associated with this position will be evaluated.


    Human Resources:

    1. Establishes, guides, and maintains the cohesiveness and required performance levels of the workforce through sound and effective policies and labor relationships.
    2. Guides and leads the overall strategic and tactical HR plans / benefits administration for the company.
    3. Ensures compliance to all codes, regulations, and legal requirements.
    4. Guides the development and implementation of all compensation, evaluation, and incentive programs.
    5. Guides and manages the recruiting and screening process.
    6. Manages all employee benefit programs (i.e. Healthcare, 401K, etc.).


    1. Establishes an overall automation strategy and expected levels of performance.
    2. Establishes a budget and measures the usage versus the value recognized.
    3. Determines the performance level required from the automation position and/or outsourced relationship.

    2. Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.

    4. Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
