    KS Engineers, P.C.
    has an immediate opening for a VP of Human Resources position on a full-time basis. Reporting to the CEO/President of the company, this role will cover 250+ employees in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

    Job Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for a team of 2 Human Resources professionals.
    • Advise the company with a focus on Human Resource strategies, organizational effectiveness and build a transformation mind-set.
    • Lead and implement HR strategies companywide and lead organizational transformation.
    • Lead change management initiatives in support of the strategic plan and vision to include organizational effectiveness.
    • Implement top talent strategy and build an effective organization.
    • Implement thorough succession planning activities that includes talent development and career growth.
    • Implement leadership development plans to include mentoring and effective management skills.
    • Implement organizational effectiveness strategies to include employee retention, engagement, recognition, and mobilization.
    • Prepare and implement policy documents companywide and for individual offices.
    Qualifications of an ideal candidate:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or a related discipline. A master's degree in a pertinent discipline is desired.
    • At least 10 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, ideally in an engineering/construction/public agency company in the NY/NJ region. Must have a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
    • Must have experience with managing multi-disciplined teams and supporting multiple office locations.
    • Experience in leading diverse teams and managing transformation projects involving change management.
    • Experience demonstrating impact and influence and be able to position yourself, even in ambiguous situations, to support your business partners in making informed decisions.
    • Must have experience in dealing and resolving complex problems and situations.
    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Able to question the status quo and demonstrate initiative, creativity and proactivity to ensure the evolution of the HR services.
    • Demonstrated ability of playing an advisor role and displaying leadership, and capacity to navigate in grey areas, and ability to adapt to changing and unforeseen priorities.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and are a team builder and have coaching skills with executives.
    • Excellent knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations in NJ, NY, PA, and CT.
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Have advanced skills with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
    • Have excellent skills with Boolean searches for untapped talent markets including leading new candidate and talent searches.
