Kevin Pitts is the Executive Director for the Bayou Region Incubator. He is also a seasoned leader, consultant, facilitator, and coach. Mr. Pitts was a managing director in executive education for Duke University Corporate Education and the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He was an adjunct professor at Drexel University and a moderator for Harvard Business Publishing, leading workshops and coached executives worldwide. His executive coaching and leadership development experiences have allowed him to see world-class organizations' best and worst practices. Kevin's mission is "to help people and organizations achieve business results by facilitating sessions and coaching executives from where they are today to where they want to be in the future."
Kevin's experience includes time with the Strategic Management Group and PCG, LLC consulting and training organizations, working with small and large organizations and others to solve business problems related to growth strategies, executive leadership, coaching, project management, and business development.
Kevin is trained in TQM and Six Sigma techniques and has extensive coaching on personal process improvement and waste eradication. He is also certified in the following: The Executive Edge®: The Coaching AdvantEdge™; Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI); Simulation and Action Learning Facilitator (Abilitie); Effective Facilitator (Leadership Strategies); Strategic Planning Facilitator (Leadership Strategies); and "You the Coach" (ELC). Mr. Pitts' most recent certification is as an Inclusion Workplace Culture Specialist. He has spoken at the annual conferences of IBM, EMC, Panasonic, Xerox, GE, NBMBAA, NABA, the OD Network, National SHRM conference. In addition to his certifications, Mr. Pitts has published several articles in the areas of business strategy, total quality management, environmental scanning, and decision-making.
